Government's clarification on the rumours spread about Covaxin

The Government of India has put an end to the rumours spreading about the Corona vaccine Covaxin. The government clarified that Bharat Biotech's vaccine was not approved under any political pressure. All the news going on in the media regarding this is fake, they are spreading lies. All guidelines have been followed before approving Covaxin.
Now Bharat Biotech has also given clarification on this matter. He said that some selected people and groups have spread misleading news about Covaxin, and we condemn it. Only those people are doing this, who have no idea about vaccines or vaccine science. These people helped spread fake news even during the pandemic. There was no pressure on the company regarding the production of Covaxin.
It is being claimed in many media reports that due to political pressure, the Indian government had approved the use of indigenous Covaxin without completing the necessary procedures. Along with this, there was pressure on the company to increase the production of the vaccine, in which the rules were also ignored. Now the Government of India has termed these reports as rumours.
On January 3, 2021, the World Health Organization approved India's indigenous vaccine Bharat Biotech's Covaxin for emergency use. So far, more than 200 crore corona vaccines have been administered across the country. At this time people have to be given booster doses.
