Kaspersky antivirus has been banned in the US. The US Commerce Department has banned Kaspersky. After this ban, the sale of Kaspersky antivirus software in the US is also banned. US Commerce Department Secretary Gina Raimondo said in a statement, "Russia has repeatedly shown that they have the ability and intention to exploit Russian companies like Kaspersky Lab to collect and weaponize sensitive US information."
