Actually, for the last few hours, there have been reports about Google Pay charging fees on mobile recharge plans. It is being claimed in many reports that Google is also now charging convenience fees for mobile recharge.

Many screenshots have also surfaced regarding Google Pay charging such fees on mobile recharge plans. It is being told that on Google Pay, the fee is being charged as per the price only on recharge packs of more than Rs 100.

Some screenshots have revealed that the company will charge a maximum of Rs 3 from users. This fee can be charged for recharge plans above Rs 300.

Apart from this, a fee of Rs 1 will be charged for recharge plans up to Rs 101-200 and Rs 2 for Rs 200-300.

Payment app Google Pay has more than 60 million active users. With this, Google Pay is the second most popular payment app for Indians. On Google Pay, users get the facility of QR code scan, contact pay, phone number, bank transfer, UPI ID, self-transfer, bills, and mobile recharge.

Till now Google Pay does not charge any kind of charge for all these transactions. However, in the coming days, fees may be charged for recharge plans. Let us tell you, no such official information has come out from Google yet.

If you do not want to pay the fee for mobile recharge, then Jio users are advised to use the My Jio app, and Airtel users are advised to use the Airtel Thanks app.
