The giant tech company Google's business is on a very large scale in India. A senior official of the Google company said that Google is preparing to introduce AI advanced tools by breaking the language barriers in India. Through these tools, agriculture-related work in the country has been targeted and their capacity will increase. Abhishek Bapna, Director of Product Management, Google DeepMind, highlighted the importance of reducing language barriers and told how important it is in India's economic development.

Bapna said at IIM Calcutta, 'Language is very important in economic development. The language barrier cannot be hidden by considering it a medical issue like a disease, it also includes banking services.' The tech giant has launched Google Genini. Earlier called Bard, this Artificial Intelligence or AI chatbot comes with more than forty global languages, including nine Indian languages. Bapna has also said that Google's current focus remains on increasing the quality and scope of the language. Many more Indian languages will be added in the coming time.

Currently, the chatbot supports nine Indian languages. These include Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Bapna noted the environment of Indian languages and said that people use many languages. Bapna said that in the present era, there is a different challenge for AI models, to understand the word and give the correct answer, for this the help of a dictionary and other options will be taken. To enhance Google's Vani project, developers in India have partnered with the Indian Institute of Science i.e. IISc.

In this project, developers will offer 14 thousand hours of speech data in about 58 languages. In this, 80 thousand speakers from 80 districts have been gathered. Google has specially introduced IndicGenBench Comprehensive Benchmark Design for Indian languages. This initiative aims to use the tone of new languages in a better way in India. Along with this, it is also helping the Indian agriculture sector. Google is working on Agriculture Landscape Understanding i.e. ALU Research. With this, data and capacity related to agriculture can be increased with limited availability.

Bapna said that in the case of agriculture, we are working on a pilot with the Telangana government. When this pilot is completed, we will work with the state government to bring it on a large scale. Bapna said that Google's agriculture initiative is focused on two major goals. Improving the income of farmers and intervening in climate change as per the need. Banks and insurance companies can also be users. But for now, our goal is that the technology should work better at its level.
