Gold and silver become expensive after Diwali, know what is the latest rate in your city

Today in futures trade, the price of gold increased by Rs 310 to Rs 60,375 per 10 grams. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for December delivery rose by Rs 310, or 0.52 percent, to Rs 60,375 per 10 grams with a turnover of 9,897 lots.

Globally, gold futures rose 0.45 percent to US$1,975.30 an ounce in New York.

Silver prices rose by Rs 598 to Rs 72,191 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as participants increased their deals due to strong spot demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery rose by Rs 598, or 0.84 percent, to Rs 72,191 per kg in 18,241 lots.

Globally, silver was trading 1.01 percent higher at US$23.37 an ounce in New York.
