General 'Go Digit General Insurance Limited' has submitted papers to the Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to bring an IPO amid the boom in the stock market. Earlier last year in August 2022, the company had submitted documents for the IPO, but SEBI returned the papers in January 2022 expressing concern about the company's employee stock plans.
Now Go Digit General Insurance Limited has submitted papers for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of $440 million (Rs 3617 crore), alleviating the concerns raised by SEBI.
According to the draft prospectus, Go Digit proposes to issue fresh shares for an amount of approximately Rs 1,250 crore and the sale of up to 10.94 crore equity shares. Earlier too, GoDigit had submitted documents to issue shares of the same amount.
According to ENTRACKR, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have invested Rs 2.5 crore in digital insurance startup GoDigit General Insurance Ltd. Along with this, Virat Kohli is also the brand ambassador of the company.
