The victim's collection manager has lodged a complaint against the escort service at Kardhani police station.
Police said that Jhotwara resident Vivek Singh (name changed) has lodged the report. He is a collection manager in a finance company. On searching on Google, a website named Escort was found. It was written on the website to provide escort services. On searching, many mobile numbers were found given on the website. Talked to a boy about contacting the mobile number.
Decided to get escort service provided. Photos were also sent to him on WhatsApp in the name of convenience. In lieu of providing the facility, a deal was fixed for Rs 3,000. Asked to send 1 thousand rupees as advance by sending QR code. By scanning the QR code, an advance was given to a person named Lokesh through an online payment app. Khirni Gate was asked to provide facilities in a hotel.
The victim told in the complaint that after about one and a half hours a girl called him. She told that she is standing near the hotel. The facility will be available after entering the balance payment of Rs 2,000. Took online payment of 2 thousand rupees by sending another QR code. After this called again and asked for 1600 rupees as security, which was told to return after service.
After some time after giving the security amount, a boy sent a message by sending a QR code to deposit Rs 2280 as the security amount. Refused to provide a facility on refusing to deposit money.
