The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police has had great success. Assam Police arrested six people in Guwahati on Tuesday and seized fake gold and Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) from their possession. These arrests were made during an operation conducted by the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police. Officials gave this information on Wednesday. According to the police, those arrested have been identified as Debdas Halder (25), Santosh Mandal (40), Nitay Halder (48), Manoj Kumar (40), Saddam Hussain (27) and Shivam Kumar (22).

According to the official statement, the operation was carried out in the Lalmati area of the city based on specific information regarding the sale and distribution of fake notes and gold. Six persons were arrested during the operation, and various items were seized from them, including three fake gold boats weighing 3.55 kg and fake notes of Rs 200 and Rs 500 worth Rs 1.04 lakh.

At least five mobile phones and Rs 1.08 lakh in cash were recovered from them, the official statement said. Among the arrested people, three are from West Bengal, one from Assam, one each from Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
