Gajendra Chauhan raging on Adipurush makers said nothing will happen by changing the dialogue, told the movie the result of fallen thinking
Adipurush Controversy: The controversy regarding Adipurush is not taking the name of ending. Even after changing the dialogue of the film, some people object to it, saying that Adipurush is the result of bad thinking. Recently, Mahabharata's Yudhishthira i.e. Gajendra Chauhan has expressed his anger over the makers of Adipurush and has also targeted Manoj Muntashir.
It has been a week since the release of Adipurush but still, the controversy regarding the film is not taking its name. Some object to the dialogues and some to the poor VFX. However, after much uproar, some dialogues of Adipurush have been changed. Yet there are some people who are still not satisfied, the latest name added to this list is former Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) chairman and actor Gajendra Chauhan.
Gajendra Chauhan, who played the iconic role of Yudhishthira in BR Chopra's TV show Mahabharata, has given a strong reaction to Adipurush. He has said that he hasn't seen the film despite having bought tickets because he doesn't want to "compromise" with his faith. He also said that the makers of the film wanted to corrupt the generations to come.
Adipurush is inspired by the epic Ramayana and has registered a stupendous opening at the box office. The film was released nationwide on Friday last week in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. Adipurush featured Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan). However, since Monday, there has been a significant decline in the film's earnings.
Now speaking to India Today, Gajendra Chauhan said, “I had booked tickets to watch this film, but for some reason, my conscience refused to believe that I should go and watch it in a theatre. Actually, after watching everything in the trailer and short clips, I realized that this movie is not worth it. I don't want to compromise on my beliefs. I want to see Lord Ram as Lord Shri Ram."
Further criticizing the makers of the film, he said, “This is the result of fallen thinking. You write what you think. Manoj Muntashir, who is a lyricist, was given the task of writing the dialogue for the film. He has copied things from various sources and messed them up. He is a very arrogant man. Manoj Muntashir has not been able to achieve even an inch of what Rahi Masoom Raza Sahib had written in the Mahabharata.
