A tragic accident took place in Madhapur village near the city on Monday evening that shook everyone. Some people of a family were sitting near the stove and eating food. Meanwhile, a bottle full of petrol kept on the stove fell. The sudden explosion caused by the falling of the bottle led to flames of fire, which engulfed nine people in the family. Along with men and women, children also got burnt in the fire. The accident caused a cry from the village to the hospital.

According to the information, at around 7 pm, people of the same family were sitting near the earthen stove built in the house and eating food. Suddenly, a bottle full of petrol kept in the cupboard above the stove fell on the burning stove. This caused a loud explosion and the fire spread. The fire was so intense that the people sitting there did not even get a chance to recover. Hearing the screams amid the flames, people nearby rushed to help and somehow controlled the fire. The burnt people were immediately admitted to the district RBM hospital.

The others who were burnt include Dalchand (70), Prem Singh (70), Pritam Singh (40) and his wife Manju Devi (35), Bharti (11), Hemlata (6), Lavkush (5) and Suman Devi (35). Besides, Mahendra Singh (26), an acquaintance of the family, was also burnt. Seriously injured Prem Singh, Lavkush, and Hemlata were referred to Jaipur. It is related that one of the family members had fetched petrol for the bike and had kept the bottle in the cupboard. During the evening time, the bottle fell on the burning stove, due to which this accident happened.
