Friends' girlfriends can't leave SpiceJet flight, so made a plan
Bomb rumor in flight to stop girlfriends of friends: Girls came from Pune to Delhi, Trainee ticketing agent of British Airways arrested
Friends said- Our girlfriend is going from Delhi to Pune by Spice Jet flight, and we want to stop her. Do something to make them stop. Friendship was to be maintained, so he gave false news of a bomb in the plane. This thing came to light in the investigation after the information about the presence of a bomb in the Delhi-Mumbai Spice Jet flight on Thursday. The police arrested the trainee ticket agent who spread the rumour.
DCP Ravi Kumar Singh of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport told that Rakesh and Kunal, friends of Abhinav Prakash, who spread the rumour, had gone on a road trip to Manali. There he became friends with two girls. After having fun there all four returned to Delhi.
From Delhi, both the girls had a program to go to Pune by SpiceJet flight. Rakesh and Kunal wanted to keep them for some more days. The girls were not ready to stop even after repeated requests. Both asked Abhinav to delay the flight. After planning, all three called SpiceJet's call center and informed them about the bomb on the plane.
SpiceJet's Delhi-Pune flight was searched on Thursday evening following reports of a bomb being found at the Delhi airport. The plane was to take off from Delhi airport at 6.30 pm. After receiving information about the bomb, the airline officials stopped boarding and called in the bomb disposal squad. The later investigation did not find anything suspicious in the plane. CISF and Delhi Police were also kept on standby. Delhi Police nabbed Abhinav after an investigation, while Kunal and Rakesh are still absconding.
