Foreign exchange reserves increased again in the country, increased by 4.67 billion US dollars till November 3
Forex Reserves Data: There has been an increase in foreign exchange reserves in this month till 3 November 2023. The Reserve Bank of India has released the weekly statistical supplement containing information on foreign exchange reserves. According to the weekly data, foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 4.67 billion to US$ 590.78 billion in the week ending November 3, 2023.
India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 4.672 billion to US$ 590.783 in the week ended November 3, 2023, the Reserve Bank of India said. According to the central bank, foreign exchange assets, or reserves, a significant share, increased by US$4.392 billion.
The total value of gold increased by US$200 million to US$46.123 billion. The Reserve Bank of India said the country's IMF reserves increased by US$64 million to US$17.975 billion, while its reserve position with the International Monetary Fund increased by US$16 million to US$4.789 billion.
The rupee on Friday closed with a marginal gain of 1 paise at 83.28 against the US dollar amid a weak dollar and positive stock market abroad. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 83.28 and fell to 83.49 against the greenback during intra-day. The domestic currency also reached an all-time high of 83.28. It finally closed at 83.28 against the dollar, showing an increase of just 1 paise from its previous close.
