The 'Cadena Cope' radio station in Spain said that on Saturday night, Atletico Madrid's Argentina international striker Angel Correa and his family were robbed at gunpoint in their house. Four masked gunmen broke into Angel Correa's home on Saturday night at approximately nine o'clock, according to the report. Then Angel and his family were put in danger by those criminals.

The burglars "demanded all the jewellery and cash available in the house," according to the radio network. No one was harmed directly, according to the information obtained, and Angel Correa reported the crime to the police himself once the criminals fled. The matter is now being looked into.

After competing in the Spanish Super Cup semifinals on Wednesday, Angel Correa left Saudi Arabia on Thursday and arrived back in Spain. The story of the robbery involving Spanish football players has surfaced previously as well. Such instances have occurred with numerous prominent football players even before this. Which includes several names like Sergio Ramos, Pierre-Emerick and Lucas Vazquez.
