After Corona, flights for Haj will start operating from Jaipur at an interval of three years. Pilgrims going on Haj will have to take a flight from Terminal-1 of Jaipur Airport. The 27 flights operated by Air India will be operated from May 21 to June 6. According to the Jaipur Airport Authority, the flight will run only once in the first week, but from the next week i.e. May 28, the number of flights will be two a day. At the same time, these flights will operate in Return from 3 to 24 July.
According to the schedule, from May 21 to 27, one flight will take off every day at 11 am, which will directly reach the Saudi Arabian city of Madina at 1.55 pm. Similarly, from May 28 to June 6, two flights will leave from Jaipur every day. In this, the first flight will leave at 9:35 am and will leave at 12:45 pm, while the second flight will leave at 11 am.
The airport administration has decided to operate flights from Terminal-1 keeping in view the security and other necessary arrangements related to Haj. The work of Terminal 1 near Sanganer was completed only last year. One of the major reasons behind operating flights from Terminal 1 is to avoid inconvenience to the passengers of normal routine flights. Under this, the administration has set up additional security personnel, deployment of CISF, and counter terminals related to customs and immigration at one.
