Flights resumed at Kathmandu airport after 2 hours

Flight services, which were halted for two hours due to a system problem at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal's capital Kathmandu, have resumed. However, the airport authorities have not yet clarified the reason for the glitch.
In the plane crash in Pokhara on January 15, the plane had taken off from this airport. Yeti Airlines plane crashed in Pokhara, 205 km from Kathmandu. It was an ATR-72 plane, carrying 68 passengers and four crew members.
Just 10 seconds before landing at Pokhara International Airport, the plane hit a hill, which caught fire. There were 5 Indian passengers on board. 2 fishermen were rescued alive from the spot.
Earlier on January 11, flight services had come to a standstill in America as well. Due to a glitch in the NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) system, 4,663 flights were delayed and 450 domestic and international flights were cancelled. After 4 hours of trouble, flight operations gradually became normal. On this matter, President Joe Biden called an emergency meeting at the White House and also called for a report from the Transport Secretary.
