The Aston Martin Vanquish is set to make a comeback next year. The British carmaker has started its teaser campaign. Recently, the exhaust notes of its engine have also been revealed. Aston Martin has written in the teaser "All will be vanquished" and a clip of the upcoming car's soundtrack has been shown. The 2025 Vanquish is going to come with an updated twin-turbocharged V12 and will be placed in place of the DBS Grand Tourer when launched.

The design and the overall body shape of the car hold no departure from Aston Martin's usual styling language. Visually, it will be similar to the current model, albeit with the signature front grille covering the entire front fascia along with oval headlamps, and will share a unique rear end.

In 2019, Aston Martin showed a concept car with the name Vanquish Vision, saying it would feature a 3.0-litre V6 at this year's Geneva Motor Show, which is good for about 700 bhp. That project has since been axed and the new Vanquish will now revert back to traditional Aston Martin grand tourer styling instead.

The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish will borrow the twin-turbo V12 engine from the DBS 770 Ultimate.

But most of it, all said and done, the design language remains very similar. Now, the engine has been substantially reworked. The V12 block features a pair of new turbochargers and fuel injectors; the entire setup now promises to produce 824 bhp of peak power and 1,000 Nm of peak torque. This was against the original unit in the discontinued DBS that made 760 bhp and 900 Nm of torque.
