A man opened fire at a shopping mall in the Sweden city of Malmö on Friday afternoon. One person was killed while 2 were injured in the attack. They are being treated in a hospital in Malmö. The attacker suddenly entered the mall and started firing. This caused a stampede in the mall.
Police said that the shooter has no connection with the terrorists. The attacker has been arrested. He is under interrogation. Eyewitnesses are being questioned about the incident. The police are also checking the CCTV cameras. At present, there is no danger to the people coming to the mall. The police have surrounded the area.
Criminal gangs continue to carry out shootings in Sweden. This has become a growing problem in the last 10 years. Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden. This problem is increasing here too. National elections are held in Sweden on 11 September. Gang war remains an important issue in elections.
