Anti-social elements set fire to a cemetery room in Jaipur on Thursday night. The room was ransacked before the contents were burnt in the dark of night. Kardhani police station brought the fire under control with the help of a fire engine. With the help of the FSL team, the police are looking for the anti-social elements who created the ruckus by collecting evidence.
SHO (Kardhani) Heeralal Saini told that the matter pertains to the cemetery located in the Kardhani area. There is a room on the outer side of the cemetery. Taking advantage of the darkness, anti-social elements vandalized the area late in the night. After that set fire to burn the things kept in the room. Utpati ran away after ransacking and setting it on fire. The local people came to know after seeing the flames rising from the room.
Kardhani police station reached the spot on the information of the fire. With the help of a fire brigade vehicle, the police managed to bring the fire under control in about 10 minutes. Goods and clothes kept in the room were burnt to ashes due to the fire. Police called the FSL team and collected evidence from the spot. Police are looking for anti-social elements who started the fire along with scanning the CCTV footage around the crime scene.
