Final decision date for the organization of Champions Trophy 2025 revealed

The BCCI has rejected the PCB's proposal regarding Champions Trophy 2025, which demanded a change in ICC's revenue with a three-year written guarantee under the hybrid model. The PCB had said that it would not play in any ICC tournament hosted by India for the next three years. Its matches should also be held at neutral venues. Apart from this, the annual amount received from the ICC should also be increased. Now the PCB will hold a final meeting regarding the tournament's organization. It is expected that the decision on the Champions Trophy will also be taken on the same day.

Another final date for the decision on the Champions Trophy has come to the fore. A decision on the tournament's future is expected in a meeting to be held in Pakistan by Wednesday (December 11). The PCB has reportedly accepted the hybrid model but has also made some demands. Now the question is whether the ICC will meet any of the PCB's demands and whether the PCB will agree with the ICC's decision, now it will be interesting to see.

The PCB receives 5.75 percent (Rs 292 crore) every year from the ICC. It had asked for its revenue to be increased from 10 to 13 percent. Besides this, the PCB also demanded all of Pakistan's matches in the upcoming Women's ODI World Cup 2025, Men's Asia Cup, and T20 World Cup 2026 that are scheduled to be played in India to be held at neutral venues.

As per the rumors, this is the very last chance for the PCB. If the PCB is not able to reach any conclusions in this meeting or even if the ICC does not okay its decision, then the hosting can also be taken away from Pakistan.
