FIFA pays tribute to India legend Sunil Chhetri with three-part series

Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri is currently the third-highest goalscorer among active players in international matches. The Indian footballer is only behind Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina's Lionel Messi with 84 goals in 131 international matches. And to celebrate Chhetri's true achievement in Indian colours, the global football body has launched a documentary that looks at the career of the Indian star.
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has launched a documentary series on the talismanic captain of India titled “Captain Fantastic”; The first season has three episodes that depict Chhetri's personal and professional life. The video series includes interviews and anecdotes about the Indian legend and chronicles his rise as a leader since making his India debut at the age of 20.
FIFA wrote on Twitter to confirm the development, "You know everything about Ronaldo and Messi, now get the definitive story of the 3rd highest scoring active male international. Sunil Chhetri | Captain Fantastic is now available on FIFA+."
The three episodes of the Indian captain have been titled 'Kick Off (Episode 1)', 'Mid-Game (Episode 2)' and 'Extra Time (Episode 3)'. The video series can be viewed on FIFA+, a video streaming platform by the international body and offers live matches, documentaries, highlights and many other football-related videos to watch on demand.
FIFA had earlier released a feature-length documentary on the life of Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho, an eight-part series on the six captains who will lead their teams to glory at the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar, and interviews. A series in which English football legend Gary Lineker talks to various World Cup Golden Boot winners.
