Apart from the song, there was also controversy regarding the poster of the film. Vijay posed nude in the poster of Liger, for which a lot of trolls were done on social media. Although there were many users who were seen appreciating Vijay's film.
According to media reports, the filmmakers wanted to cast Jhanvi Kapoor in Liger, but due to a lack of dates, they refused to do the film. After which the film came in the part of Ananya.
