You will also remember that time when the stories of scratching the mouth were very much discussed. Many types of stories were told in the village regarding mouth-watering. Many people of the village used to say that it ran away at night by scratching the faces of the people sleeping on the roof.

Times changed and everyone got a mobile phone. The era of WhatsApp started, people started sending fake messages in many ways. Some messages must have come to you too. Now a fake message is going viral on Facebook, about which we are going to tell you.

One such message is being shared a lot on Facebook these days. Facebook is flooded with posts in which people are claiming that Facebook is going to implement a new rule after which it will use our Facebook data (photos, videos, names, mobile numbers) for its business.

Remember that starting tomorrow there's a new Facebook rule (aka... new name meta) where they can use your photos. Don't forget the deadline is today!!! I do not give Facebook or any entity associated with Facebook permission to use my past and future pictures, information, messages, or publications.

You can copy and paste this version if you'd like. If you don't publish a statement at least once it will tacitly allow the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in your profile and status updates. Do not share. copy and paste.

First of all, make it clear that after investigation on the internet, we did not get any such news nor did we get any statement issued by Facebook which confirms that Facebook is going to change its privacy policy. Facebook has not issued any such statement.

This type of post had gone viral earlier also. The same post went viral in 2022 as well. Facebook's newsroom section has a statement dated November 27, 2012, in which Facebook has called such viral messages a hoax.
