Ganesh Chaturthi, a significant Hindu festival venerating Lord Ganesha, is celebrated with great zeal nationwide. This auspicious day holds special importance for Lord Ganesha's worship. This year, the residents of the Executive Palace Complex on Vip Road Baguiati chose a unique theme for their Ganesh Puja, dedicated to the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) team.
During the celebration, Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of the Executive Palace on Vip Road, Baguiati, expressed, "While Ganesh Chaturthi may be more widely celebrated in western India than in West Bengal, it has been gaining popularity in recent years. For us, every auspicious endeavor begins with the worship of Lord Ganesha. This year, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, we pay tribute to ISRO. Chandrayaan-3 is a historic achievement for every Indian mission. The Ganesh Chaturthi festival holds deep spiritual and religious significance, as Lord Ganesha is believed to be the remover of obstacles and creator of a joyous atmosphere. We will celebrate this festival for six days, culminating in a Hawan ceremony with the participation of all residents before Visarjan. Additionally, we will distribute bhog to more than 2,000 people outside our complex premises."
