Everyone is in a hurry to remove two thousand notes, 2000 currency is being given to food delivery apps for minor orders

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had announced to withdraw the Rs 2000 note from circulation on 19 May 2023 (Friday). After this, there has been an atmosphere of trouble among the people, while the bank has fixed the deadline to change the notes till 30 September.
Meanwhile, India's leading food delivery app Zomato has told that people ordering cash on delivery (COD) with them are paying only 2000 notes for COD payment.
This shows that people are desperate to exchange or pass on their Rs 2,000 notes as soon as possible. People are thronging fuel stations and jewelry shops to get rid of Rs 2000 notes.
RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that people need not crowd outside banks for note exchange. Till September 30, people can easily go to any bank or regional center of RBI and get the note converted into another currency. No charge of any kind will be levied on this exchange. There are still 4 months to 30th September, in such a situation the note can be easily exchanged.
RBI has fixed the note exchange limit at Rs 20,000. That is, you can change only 10 notes in a day. On the other hand, if you deposit money in the account, then no limit of any kind has been imposed on it.
If a person is not able to go to the bank to exchange the note, then he can get the note exchanged even while sitting at home. Bankmitra will come to his house and exchange the notes. In this facility, only 2 notes of 4000 i.e. 2000 rupees can be changed.
RBI will run remote vans in remote areas, where there is no bank or the bank is far away. Through this van, people can get the notes changed to other currencies. In such a situation, people will not need to go to the bank.
