The Test series between England and Pakistan will begin with the deciding match on October 24. Pakistan won the second Test of the series, while England won the first. In this case, the series will be won by the team that wins the third Test.

The playing 11 for England's third Test match has been announced, which will take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In addition to this, Rehan Ahmed is back. The English team will field 3 spinners in the upcoming Test match in a situation like this.

In 2022, Rehan played his first Test match against Pakistan. His most recent appearance was during a Test match against the Indian team. In February, this game took place in Rajkot. Gus Atkinson has also been added to the playing 11 in addition to Rehan.

He had to miss out on the second Test in Multan. He alongside Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts have been benched. Atkinson is the only quick bowler selected in the team. Apart from this, captain Ben Stokes can also chip in by bowling a few overs.

There have been two changes from the second Test in Multan," the statement from the England Cricket Board said on Tuesday. "Fast bowler Gus Atkinson has been recalled and leg spinner Rehan Ahmed has been selected for the first time since the Test match against India in Rajkot in February. Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts have been dropped from the playing 11."

In the first Test of the series, England defeated Pakistan by 47 runs. Even after making 556 runs in the first innings, the Pakistan team lost. England declared the second innings at 823/7. Joe Root scored 262 runs, apart from his Harry Brook made 317 runs. In reply, the Pakistan team was reduced to 220 runs in the second innings.

The Pakistan team then made an outstanding comeback back in the second Test played in Multan itself. England defeated Pakistan by 152 runs. The Pakistan spinners took all 20 wickets: Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali took all 20 wickets.

Playing 11 of England for the third Test: Jack Crowley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (captain), Jamie Smith, Gus Atkinson, Rehan Ahmed, Jack Leach, Shoaib Bashir.
