Engineer's body found wrapped in electric wires, was a victim of depression; suicide note found in the name of family
A case of suicide of a 38-year-old software engineer has come to light. The man committed suicide in Chennai and the name of the person is being told as Karthikeyan. Karthikeyan electrocuted himself and his wife found him entangled in the electric wire on Thursday. Karthikeyan is a resident of Theni district of Tamil Nadu.
After death of a CA in Pune, now a case of a 38-year-old software engineer has come to light who committed suicide in Chennai and the name of that is being told as Karthikeyan. Karthikeyan electrocuted himself and his wife found him entangled in electric wire on Thursday. Karthikeyan, from the Theni district of Tamil Nadu lives in Chennai with his wife and two kids aged 10 and eight years.
According to Jagran, Karthikeyan was suffering from depression for some time. He worked as a technical expert in a software firm in Chennai for the last 15 years and recently took up a new job. He was undergoing treatment for depression.
It is being said that Karthikeyan had complained of depression due to work pressure, but the family and the police did not confirm it. A police officer told about the incident, 'We are investigating the reasons. He was recently transferred to a new company. In his suicide note, he has left a message for every member of the family.'
Karthikeyan was alone in the house when the incident occurred. His wife K Jayarani left for Tirunallur temple, which is about 300 km away from Chennai, on Monday. She had left the kids at her mother's place. On Thursday night she returned and knocked at the door, but got no response.
She entered the house with the help of a spare key and found Karthikeyan lying with an electric wire twirled around his body. A case of death has been registered and investigation is going on.
