Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag: 2 terrorists killed by security forces

An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag. Two terrorists have been killed by security forces in the Tangapawa area here. The joint operation of police and security forces is still going on. According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, some terrorists are still suspected to be hiding.
According to media reports, a search operation was launched in Tangpawa on Sunday evening after information about the presence of terrorists. During this, as the cordon tightened, the hiding terrorists started firing. After this, the encounter started with retaliatory action. So far 7 terrorists have been encountered in October.
On October 5, 4 local terrorists were killed in two separate encounters in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Three local Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were killed in an encounter that began on Tuesday evening in Shopian's Drach area. Here, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist has been killed by security forces in the second encounter that started early on Wednesday in Mulu.
The two terrorists killed in the Drach area have been identified as Hanan bin Yacoub and Jamshed. Both of them were involved in the killing of SPO Javed Dar in Pingalana, Pulwama on 1 October and a West Bengal labourer on 24 September in Pulwama.
Earlier on October 2, security forces conducted a joint operation in the Baskuchan Imamsahib area of ​​Shopian and killed a terrorist. He was identified as Naseer Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Naupora Baskuchan Shopian. An AK-47 rifle, several arms and ammunition were recovered from him. Police said he was involved in several terror crimes and had recently escaped from an encounter.
Operation all-out is going on in the valley. Earlier, on September 27, two Jaish terrorists were killed by security forces at Ahwatu in Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, on the night of 26 September, a terrorist was killed in the Wes Batpora area of ​​Kulgam.
