Encounter at 2 places in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir

Four local terrorists have been killed in two separate encounters in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Three local Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were killed in an encounter that began on Tuesday evening in Shopian's Drach area. Here, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist has been killed by security forces in the second encounter that started early on Wednesday in Mulu. The encounter in Mulu is still going on.
The two terrorists killed in the Drach area have been identified as Hanan bin Yacoub and Jamshed. Both of them were involved in the killing of SPO Javed Dar in Pingalana, Pulwama on 1 October and a West Bengal labourer on 24 September in Pulwama. According to the police, information was received about the hiding of terrorists in Drach. During the search operation, the terrorists started firing on the team.
One person died at a checkpoint in Pulwama district. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Asif Ahmed. Police said the accident happened around 10 am when the service rifle of the security personnel went off by mistake. Ahmed was then taken to the hospital, where he died. Police said it was a misfire. The security personnel has been arrested and the weapon has also been confiscated.
Earlier on October 2, security forces conducted a joint operation in the Baskuchan Imamsahib area of ​​Shopian and killed a terrorist. He was identified as Naseer Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Naupora Baskuchan Shopian. An AK-47 rifle, several arms and ammunition were recovered from him. Police said he was involved in several terror crimes and had recently escaped from an encounter.
In the last 8 days in Jammu and Kashmir, 11 terrorists have been killed by the security forces. On September 30, security forces killed two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in Baramulla. SSP Baramulla Rais Mohammad Bhat told that these terrorists were planning to attack the Agniveer recruitment rally going on in Baramulla.
Operation all out is going on in the valley. Earlier, on September 27, two Jaish terrorists were killed by security forces at Ahwatu in Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, on the night of 26 September, a terrorist was killed in the Wes Batpora area of ​​Kulgam.
The terrorist was identified as Abu Huraira, a resident of Pakistan, a category A terrorist of Jaish. An army jawan and two civilians were also injured in this encounter.
