Due to the air pollution in New Delhi, all Zonal sports events and state school games have been suspended
The notification from the Delhi Government's Directorate of Education (DOE) stated that all Zonal sports tournaments and Delhi State School Games or events are suspended.
Due to the Graded Response Action Plan's third phase being implemented, the Delhi Directorate of Education declared on Friday that all zonal sports events and the Delhi State School Games would be suspended (GRAP).
The DOE stated in its notification that the decision was made with the children's and students' health and safety in mind. Sports activities in the state capital have been put on hold till further notice.
All Zonal sports tournaments and Delhi State School Games or events are suspended with immediate effect until further orders in compliance with the CAQM order regarding the implementation of GRAP-III and keeping in mind the health and security of students and children in Delhi due to poor air quality," the notice from the Delhi Government's Directorate of Education (DOE) stated.
