Ajay Devgan's film Drishyam 2 has become the second biggest opener of this year. The film collected 15.38 crores on the first day of its release. It has left behind the first-day collection of Akshay Kumar's film Ramsetu. The figures for the first day of the film released on about 3300 screens are said to be very good. Drishyam 2 has achieved the biggest opening of all of Ajay Devgan's films in the last two years.

Sharing the collection of Drishyam 2 on his social media account, trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​wrote - "The industry has risen again after a bad phase. The film made a great opening on the first day. Becomes the second-biggest opener of the year. It is expected to cross 50 cr by the end of the weekend. Friday ₹15.38 cr."
