'Ek hi toh dil hai, kitni baar jeetege', you must have heard this saying many times. This saying fits perfectly on former Indian coach and great player Rahul Dravid. Everyone is a fan of his game and personality. Dravid always does something that makes people his admirer. Now this great player has done something. Knowing which every Indian's chest will swell with pride.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) awarded Rs 125 to the Indian team's players and support staff following their victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. All of the team's players and Dravid received Rs 5 crore from the Rs 125 crore total. At the same time, other coaches earned Rs 2.5 crore. Dravid was upset about the discrimination against his fellow coaches. In such a case, this exceptional player distributed half of his bonus equally among all of them.

Dravid requested that his cash award be reduced to Rs 2.5 crore from its current level. He did not want to be paid more than the batting, bowling, and fielding coaches. He distributed the remaining 2.5 crores among bowling coach Paras Mahambre, fielding coach T Dilip, and batting coach Vikram Rathore.

A BCCI source said, 'Rahul Dravid wants a bonus of Rs 2.5 crore like his other assistant coaches. We respect his sentiment.' In 2018, Team India won the Under-19 World Cup and at that time Rahul Dravid was also the head coach of that team, even then he did something similar.

Then Dravid got Rs 50 lakh as the head coach, while the rest of the support staff was given Rs 20 lakh and all the players were given Rs 30 lakh. Dravid objected to this and BCCI then had to pay equal money to everyone.
