After the ongoing controversy in the private hospital of Jodhpur, now the Jaipur Doctors of Residents Association (JARD) has also come down in support of the doctors of Jodhpur. JARD President Dr. Neeraj Damor has written a letter demanding the administration to take just action and protect the doctors. He also referred to the Dausa incident and warned that if the administration does not take any strict steps, then JARD will have to take some drastic steps in support of the doctors.
In fact, a 65-year-old man was admitted to the hospital on August 24 due to a heart problem in Krishna Hospital located at Canal Square, Jodhpur. The patient was operated on on 29 August. During this, the hospital administration deposited Rs 4 lakh from the relatives of the patient at the time of admission and Rs 4.38 lakh at the time of operation, but the patient died on the night of September 11. When it came to depositing the money after the death, the tension between the family members and the hospital management increased. The family members alleged that they were not given benefits under the Chiranjeevi scheme.
After this, the family sat on a dharna on Sunday night for not providing insurance cover under Chiranjeevi Yojana and negligence against the hospital. The relatives kept the dead body outside the hospital and remained adamant on the demand for action. Here in this controversy, in protest, the doctors also took out a candle march on Monday. All the doctors of the private hospital in Jodhpur city went on strike for not lifting the dead body till Tuesday. He has demanded the collector remove the dead body in the case of the hospital.
Some time ago, in Dausa itself, the family members had created a ruckus in the case of the death of the mother in a private hospital. The matter had increased so much that the female doctor who treated the maternity after getting upset committed suicide. After this, there was a protest against this incident all over the country.
