Diesel tanker overturned on highway in Ajmer, chaos after leakage; police reached the spot

A major accident took place in the Civil Lines police station area of Ajmer on Wednesday. A diesel tanker on the highway lost control and overturned while attempting to dodge a car. Diesel started leaking from the tanker after the accident, causing a chaotic situation at the site.

Diesel collection by locals made the scene even more critical. The Police from the Civil Police Station arrived at the spot as soon as the incident was reported and arranged for a crane to straighten the tanker. The police dispersed the people to a safe distance and controlled the situation.

After the tanker was straightened, the people of the area breathed a sigh of relief. There is no report of any casualty in the accident. The police have started questioning the tanker driver and the investigation is on. Due to the accident, traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time, which was later restored.

The local administration also inspected the spot and said that additional safety measures will be considered to prevent such accidents in the future. After the tanker overturned, people nearby were seen filling diesel and taking it away.
