Samantha had opened up about her illness a few days back. Sharing the photo of his hospital on social media, he wrote, 'A few months ago I got a disease called myositis. I wanted to share this with all of you a long time ago, but it took me a while to tell. Now I'm slowly starting to understand that we don't need to stand firm all the time. Sometimes it is better to accept things seriously.
Samantha further wrote, 'I am still struggling with this. Doctors think that I will recover completely from this soon. There have been good days in my life, sometimes bad days too. It was physical as well as emotional. I used to think that I could not bear one more day, but after that moment would go away. Now I feel that I am in the stage of gradual recovery. I love you all very much. This day too will pass.
Samantha had informed about his divorce on October 2 last year through social media. Before marriage, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya dated each other for almost three years. Then on 6 October 2017, both of them tied the knot. They married according to both Hindu and Christian customs.
