Departure of Udaipur's Vistara flight gets delayed by two and a half hours due to a bomb threat
Vistara Flight Bomb Threat: Today once again, flights of many airlines have received bomb threats, including a similar threat to Vistara's Bangalore-Udaipur flight, after which passengers were instructed to immediately leave their luggage and go to a safe place.
A bomb threat to Vistara's Bangalore-Udaipur flight created a stir among its passengers at Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur on Sunday. This is the third such incident in the last four days to the said flight. The crew members, soon after the flight landed in Udaipur, at 1:20 pm informed the passengers that there was a bomb threat to the flight. Moreover, apart from that, the passengers were instantly asked to leave behind their luggage and proceed to a safe place.
After this announcement by the crew members, the passengers immediately left their luggage and ran to a safe place. Additional officer Dabok police station, Chandrashekhar Kilaniya said that information about this threat was received on social media. The police and airport security did a thorough check of the flight along with passengers' luggage with the help of metal detectors and dog squads, but no suspicious object was found during this period, after which the fight was dispatched.
Generally, this Vistara flight leaves Bangalore at 11:20 am, reaches Udaipur at 1:20 pm, and flies back to Bangalore at 1:55 pm, but because of the bomb threat, it took two and a half hours to complete the security check due to which this flight could leave for Bangalore at 4:20 pm.
Also on October 24 and 25, bomb threats were received for Alliance Air and Indigo flights. No suspicious object was found in any one of them, but due to checking, the flights had to be delayed. After all these incidents, a kind of fear is running among the passengers. The administration has tightened security at the airport after these threats.
