Delhi Capitals set a target of 142 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore in WPL 2025

The fourth match of the third edition of the Women's Premier League is being held between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. Batting first, Delhi Capitals have set up a challenge of 142 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore to chase.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had won the toss against Delhi Capitals and had decided to field first. The entire Delhi Capitals' lineup got out on 141 runs within 19.3 overs. Jemima Rodrigues had scored the most 34 runs on behalf of Delhi Capitals.

The Delhi Capitals' team had a disastrous start. The rest of the task was accomplished by wickets falling at regular intervals. It was only through the bowlers of Royal Challengers Bangalore that no player of Delhi Capitals was able to contribute big runs. Captain of Delhi Capitals, Meg Lanning scored 17 runs, Jemima Rodrigues scored 34 runs, Annabel Sutherland scored 19 runs, Marizanne Kapp scored 12 runs, Sarah Bryce scored 23 runs and Shikha Pandey scored 14 runs.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals' Shefali Verma and Radha Yadav could not even open the account, while Arundhati Reddy scored 4 runs and Jess Jonassen was out after scoring one run. Minnu Mani remained unbeaten after scoring 5 runs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers bowled brilliantly in the match and did not give the Delhi Capitals batsmen a chance to play freely. Renuka Singh and Georgia Wareham took 3-3 wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Kim Garth and Ekta Bisht took 2-2 wickets.
