Singh wrote on X, "Today, December 31, I will be in Tezpur, Assam. I will be interacting with the students there during the convocation of Tezpur University."
Apart from the Defense Minister, the Corps Commander of Gajraj Corps and several civil and military dignitaries will participate in the event.
According to the university, on the occasion of their 21st convocation, a total of 783 students will be awarded postgraduate (PG) degrees, 428 undergraduate (UG) degrees, five PG diplomas and over 100 researchers will be awarded PhD degrees. Besides, degrees will also be awarded to 23 students of distance and online education mediums.
