Roadways in Rajasthan also increased the DA of its employees by 4 percent today following the order of the state government to increase the dearness allowance of the state employees. At the same time, the Roadways Administration has also decided to take 900 drivers on a service contract to increase the operation of buses.
Nathmal Didel, MD, Rajasthan Roadways, has today ordered a 4 percent DA hike to give dearness allowance to roadways employees and dearness relief to pensioners like central and state government employees. With this order, the DA of roadways employees has also increased from 38 to 42 percent and the increased DA will be applicable from January 1, 2023.
Rajasthan Roadways has also decided to recruit 900 drivers in view of the shortage of drivers at different depots. This recruitment will be done on the service contract. For this recruitment to be done for one year, applications have also been sought through a government-recognized registered institution or cooperative society of ex-servicemen.
