There is little chance of increase in dearness allowance / dearness relief given to more than one crore employees and pensioners of the central government this month. According to sources, there is a strong possibility of a four percent increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief before Diwali next month i.e. in October. In the second week of October, the Union Cabinet may approve the file for increase in dearness allowance. Earlier it was believed that in September, the central government could give the gift of DA / DR increase to its employees and pensioners. At present, the rate of DA / DR is 50 percent. If there is an increase of 4 percent in it, then this rate will reach 54.

With this increase, the rate of DA had reached 46 to 50 percent. Now from July 1, government employees will get the gift of four percent increase in DA. If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18 thousand, then according to 54 percent dearness allowance, his salary will increase by about Rs 720 every month. According to 50 percent DA is Rs 9000, by 54 percent it will become Rs 9720. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 720.

If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 25 thousand, then he will get a benefit of Rs 1000 per month. According to 50 percent his DA is Rs 12500. By 54 percent increase that amount will be Rs 13500. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 1000.

If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 35 thousand, then he will get Rs 1400 more per month. At present, he gets DA of Rs 17500 at the rate of 50 percent, after the increase of 54 percent, that amount will be Rs 18900. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 1400.

A worker with a basic salary of Rs 45,000 will get an increase of about Rs 1800. At present, DA at the rate of 50 percent is Rs 22500, at the rate of 54 percent it will be Rs 24300. That is, due to the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 1800.

Workers who get a basic salary of Rs 52 thousand, will benefit by Rs 2080 every month on the increase in DA. DA at the rate of 50 percent is Rs 26000, at the rate of 54 percent he will get Rs 28080. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 2080.

An employee with a basic salary of Rs 70,000 will benefit by about Rs 2800. At the rate of 50 percent, his DA is Rs 35000. At the rate of 54 percent, the amount of DA will be Rs 37800. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 2800.

There will be an increase of about Rs 3420 on a basic salary of Rs 85,500. At the rate of 50 percent, his DA is Rs 42750, at the rate of 54 percent, that amount will be Rs 46170. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 3420.

Employees with a basic salary of Rs 1 lakh will get an increase of more than Rs 4000 every month in their account. At the rate of 50%, his DA is Rs 50,000, at the rate of 54% it will be Rs 54,000. That is, after the increase in the rate of DA, his salary will increase by Rs 4000.
