Cyclone Biparjoy may reach Gujarat by June 15: Revenge into severe storm

The Biparjoy storm passing through the Arabian Sea has turned into a severe cyclone. According to the Meteorological Department's update at 5:30 am, the storm is 480 km from Porbandar in Gujarat, 530 km from Dwarka, and 610 km from Naliya in Kutch. It is expected to reach Karachi in Gujarat and Pakistan by June 15.
Earlier, the Ahmedabad Meteorological Department had predicted that the storm could pass 200-300 km from the coast of Porbandar and 200 km from Nalia. NDRF has been deployed in Porbandar, Gir-Somnath, and Valsad to deal with any kind of threat. At the same time, Karachi Port has issued a red alert.
Due to the storm, there will be thunderstorms in Gujarat for the next five days. The maximum impact will be in the Saurashtra-Kutch region. During this, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 KMPH, which can also touch the speed of 50 KMPH, especially from 13 to 15 June.
Monsoon covered Coastal Karnataka ahead of the remaining parts of Kerala on Saturday. The onset of monsoon in Kerala was delayed by 7 days. The country receives an average of 35.5 mm of rainfall this season till June 10. The Meteorological Department estimates that within the next 48 hours, the monsoon is likely to advance into the entire Goa, and some parts of Maharashtra, especially coastal Maharashtra.
A yellow alert has been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Kozhikode, and Kannur in Kerala. On the other hand, heat wave conditions will prevail for 2 to 3 days in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Coastal Andhra, and Telangana. There is no possibility of monsoon knocking in Andhra, Telangana, Odisha, or Chhattisgarh in three to four days.
