Customer found a rat in a packet of bread: Bread was ordered from Blinkit app
Customer found a rat in a packet of bread: Bread was ordered from the Blinkit app, Twitter users asked – no one saw it in the store.
Home food and grocery delivery apps have made life easier for people. Many apps talk about the delivery of goods in less than half an hour. One such app is BlinkIt, which claims to deliver ration in 10 minutes.
But for one user, the experience of ordering groceries from this app turned out to be bad. A live rat was found in his bread packet. This packet of English Oven Bread was fully packed, that is, at the time of its packing, the rat got packed in the packet. Surprisingly, no one saw this rat from the bread company to the store and then to the delivery.
This user named Nitin Arora shared the photo of the incident on Twitter on 3 February. He wrote- My experience with Blinkit was very bad. I ordered a packet of bread on February 1, in which a live rat was delivered inside the packet. This is an alarming thing for all of us. If such an item is delivered by delivery within 10 minutes then I would prefer to wait a few hours for delivery rather than pick up such an item.
Following a tweet by customer Nitin Arora, Twitter users asked whether the question should be asked to both the English Oven company's bakery and the Blinkit app. How did the bakery pack such a packet and how did no one see it from the store to the delivery boy?
Many users also raised questions about the food safety authorities, saying that who knows whether the audits of these places are done on time or not and whether safety checks are also done in it. People also said that it is difficult to trust apps that deliver in 10 minutes. Blinkit will deliver in 10 minutes, but will not listen to your complaint even in 10 days.
