Covid-19: Alert in Karnataka, panic in health department due to finding of 34 patients of JN.1-variant; Minister said- no need to be afraid
COVID-19: JN.1-variant cases are increasing rapidly in Karnataka. The Karnataka government has issued an alert given the increasing cases of JN.1-variant. However, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao says that there is no need to be afraid of this variant. There are 430 active cases of Corona, out of which 400 patients are in home isolation and the rest are admitted to the hospital.

Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said that 34 cases of the JN.1 variant have been reported in the state, but our government is fully alert about it. He said that the JN.1 variant is not dangerous and there is no need to be afraid of it.
Health Minister Dinesh Gundu told news agency ANI that there are 430 active cases of Corona, out of which 400 patients are in home isolation and the rest are admitted to hospitals. He said that about 7 to 8 patients are in ICU. Most of the cases have been found in Bengaluru.
Along with this, he has appealed to the people to follow the rules of Corona. He said that the elderly will be given a booster dose of the vaccine. We are purchasing around 30,000 vaccines. He said that the government will provide anti-flu vaccine to health workers.
Given the increasing cases of COVID-19, a cabinet sub-committee meeting was held in Bengaluru under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao. In this meeting, instructions were given to strictly follow the rules regarding Covid-19.
