Corona mock drill will start in the country from today: Health Minister will review the preparations in AIIMS Jhajjar

A two-day corona mock drill will start across the country today. Preparations to deal with Corona will be reviewed in hospitals on Monday and Tuesday through mock drills. This mock drill will be held in both government and private hospitals. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will visit AIIMS Jhajjar today.
On Sunday, 137 new cases of the corona were reported in Himachal Pradesh, while 4 people died. Of these, 3 people lost their lives in the Shimla district, while one person died in the Sirmaur district. The number of active cases in Himachal has gone up to 1,764.
On Sunday, 699 corona cases were found in Delhi, while the positivity rate was 21.15%. Here also 4 Corona patients lost their lives. On Saturday, 535 new cases were reported in Delhi, while the positivity rate was 23.05%.
Government officials in Delhi discussed making masks mandatory again on Sunday. However, no decision has been taken in this regard yet. Earlier on Friday, the neighbouring state of Haryana had made it mandatory to wear masks in public places.
On Sunday, 788 new cases of the corona were reported in Maharashtra and 1 person died. On Sunday, 560 people were cured of Corona in the state. At present, there are 4,587 active cases of corona here.
On the other hand, 165 new corona cases were found in Rajasthan and one person lost his life. There have been 651 active cases here.
In the Kovid mock drill, it will be seen how the health department and staff handle the emergency situation. How do they make full use of the available resources to provide treatment to as many people as possible? In this, many things are seen including the infrastructure of hospitals, stock of medicines, availability of oxygen, and the number of doctors and staff.
The last time Corona mock drill took place in India was on December 27, 2022. Whereas, on March 26, a mock drill took place in the hospitals of Delhi.
On Saturday, 5,357 new cases of the corona were reported, while 11 people died. A decrease of 12% was registered in the new cases of Corona in the country as compared to a day earlier. On Friday, 6155 new cases were reported.
