Corona caught speed before the new year, 743 new cases found in the country; Seven people died

Covid-19 Cases in India: There are only a few hours left before the end of 2023, but the speed of Corona in the country is not taking less. In the last 24 hours in India, 743 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported.

According to the Union Ministry of Health, 743 new cases of Coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in the country has increased to 3,997.

According to official data from the Union Ministry of Health, seven people have died during the last 24 hours. Three people in Kerala, two in Karnataka and one in Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu died of Coronavirus.

797 new cases were found in the country a day ago. However, a day later there has been a decrease in the cases of Corona in the country. However, the death toll has increased compared to a day earlier. On Friday, five people died from Corona, while seven people died today.

Till December 28, a total of 145 cases of JN.1, Sub Variants of Kovid-19 have been registered in the country. The first case of the JN.1 variant of Covid-19 came to light in Kerala. Given this, the advisory has been issued across the country.

The Union Health Ministry said that 4 crore 50 lakh 12 thousand 484 cases have been reported in the country since 2020. Apart from this, the death toll due to Covid-19 cases in the country has increased to 5,33,358.
