Controversy over Tricolor advertisement in every house in Karnataka

A new controversy has arisen in Karnataka over the central government's Har Ghar tricolour program. This controversy is about the advertisement given by the Karnataka government in the newspaper. In fact, the state government has published a newspaper advertisement in the memory of freedom fighters under the 'Har Ghar Tricolor' campaign. Many heroes who brought freedom have been given place, but the special thing is that the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru is missing from this advertisement, while Vinayak Savarkar has been given his place.
The Karnataka government published this advertisement on August 14. BJP state general secretary N. Ravi Kumar said- Nehru was a person who did not listen to Mahatma Gandhi, and he was responsible for the partition of the country, so we will not put his picture. Now the Karnataka Congress has given its sharp reaction to this advertisement from the state government.
General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress will continue its effort to unite the nation by carrying forward the legacy of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and other leaders. The politics of hate will be defeated.
On the other hand, BJP released a video of one on the occasion of Partition Memorial Day. In the video, BJP presented a story related to the events of 1947. In the seven-minute video, Nehru has been held responsible for the partition of the country. According to the BJP, Nehru was behind the creation of Pakistan during the partition, because Nehru had to bow down to the demand of the Muslim League led by Mohammad Ali Jinnah to create Pakistan.
Congress retaliated against this video of the BJP. Jairam Ramesh said that August 14 was celebrated as Partition Vibhishika Memorial Day. The real intention behind this is to use the most painful historical events of the Prime Minister by the BJP for their political gains. He said that the efforts of modern-day Savarkar and Jinnah to divide the country continue even today.
PM Modi had announced to celebrate Partition Vibhishika Memorial Day on August 14 last year. In 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that every year 14 August will be celebrated as 'Bhajan Vibhishika Memorial Day' to remind the country of the sufferings and sacrifices of Indians during the Partition in 1947.
