Karnataka: An employee of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Party has been arrested for posting against the Energy Minister of the Karnataka Government. Officials said that during the Telangana State Assembly elections, Karnataka Government's Energy Minister K.J. Had posted a post against George. Controversial post was made against Energy Minister of Karnataka Government, BRS worker arrested

A Bharat Rashtra Samithi Party worker has been arrested for posting against the Energy Minister of Karnataka Government.

Officials said that during the Telangana State Assembly elections, Karnataka Government's Energy Minister K.J. Had posted a post against George.

However, after the controversial post went viral, a complaint was lodged against a BRS employee at the East Division of Cyber Crime Police Station in Bengaluru.

The accused was identified as Ravikant Sharma, 33, son of a former councilor and a resident of Karimnagar in Telangana. Ravikant is accused of posting a fake post against Minister George on social media.

According to an official statement, the Cyber, Economic Offenses and Narcotics Police on Wednesday arrested Ravikant Sharma, a resident of Karimnagar. The accused is an active worker of the BRS party and works in the IT cell of the party. His father and mother were also former councilors of the BRS party. At present further investigation is being done by the police.
