Supreme Court Justice Sanjiv Khanna advocated simplifying the laws. He said that the laws need to be made simpler, more humane, and friendly for the young generation.

Supreme Court Judge Sanjiv Khanna said that the Indian Constitution is a living document, which affects the lives of millions of people. He urged everyone to move forward with determination, unity, and optimism.

Judge Khanna said that today we are celebrating the 74th Constitution Day. We find ourselves at a critical moment in our country's journey. The Indian Constitution has been repeatedly defined as a living document, as it is a part of our lives. Justice Khanna said the Constitution changed the lives of 350 million people in 1950 and continues to leave an indelible mark and impact on the lives of 1.4 billion people today.

Today, when we consider the objectives of our legal system, we should recognize the need to make our laws more simple and accessible to the younger generation, he said during an event.

Let us tell you that a program was organized in the Supreme Court today on the occasion of Constitution Day. President Draupadi Murmu, CJI DY Chandrachud, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, and many judges of the Supreme Court were also present in this program. The country's Constitution was adopted on 26 November 1949. Every year 26 November is celebrated as Constitution Day.
