Condition of Brazilian veteran footballer Pele is stable

An update has been given by Albert Einstein Hospital regarding the health of Brazilian veteran footballer Pele. According to the hospital, Pele's condition is stable and he is responding. At the same time, after giving the update on the hospital, Pele also posted a message to the fans on social media. He has appealed to the fans to think positively and remain calm. Pele wrote in his post – I am strong with a lot of hope and I am positive and I want everyone to stay calm and think positive. I would like to thank the entire medical and nursing team who are taking care of me. I have faith in God and messages from all over the world are giving me energy. Watch Brazil play in the World Cup.
Earlier media reports had claimed that his condition was critical and his organs had stopped working. He was admitted to the hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 29 November after he felt chest pain. Till Thursday, his condition was said to be fine. But, on Friday, he started having trouble breathing.
Pele, who was battling ball cancer, was also admitted to the Israelite Albert Einstein Hospital in September this year. He was treated through chemotherapy. But, there was no effect of treatment on his body. After which chemotherapy was stopped and he was given medicines to reduce pain.
On Thursday, Pele shared a photo on Instagram and informed about his deteriorating health. He thanked all his fans for supporting him in a difficult situation.
Even during the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the fans gave him the message of getting well soon. The fans present in the stadium waved a huge hoarding during the Brazil-Cameroon match. It had 'Get Well Soon Pele' written on it.
