After the new price is implemented today, instead of Rs 78.17 per kg of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Rs 81.17 will have to be paid from Saturday. At the same time, in Gurugram, CNG will now be available at the rate of 86.94 per kg instead of 83.94 per kg.
If we talk about the price of PNG, then its price in Delhi has increased to 53.59 per standard cubic meter (SCM). Its rate will be Rs 53 in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. At the same time, the price has gone up to 56.97 in Muzaffarnagar, Shamli and Meerut. The rates in Kanpur, Fatehpur and Hamirpur will be 56.10.
Earlier this week in Mumbai, gas distribution company Mahanagar Gas Ltd. (MGL) increased the price of CNG by Rs. Currently, the price of CNG in Mumbai is Rs 86. A few days ago, the Petroleum Ministry increased the price of natural gas by 40%. Since then, the price of CNG was being estimated to increase in different cities of the country.
With the rise in the prices of natural gas, the prices of CNG are now seeing a rise. According to experts, the government last week increased the rate paid for gas produced from the old gas sector to $8.57 per unit from the current $6.1 per million British thermal units (per unit). In such a situation, in the coming days, the prices of CNG may see a further increase.
