Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma presented generous presents to all the policemen on Rajasthan Police Foundation Day. In a ceremony conducted at RPA Jaipur on Wednesday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma referred to the policemen as 'actual heroes of society' and decided to raise their uniform and mess allowance. The policemen will also have the facility of travelling free in semi-deluxe buses.

The Chief Minister said that the police uniform is not just a cloth, but a responsibility, a promise, and a meaning of life. Saluting the courage, service spirit, and sacrifice of the policemen, he said that in every disaster and crisis, the policemen are the first to be seen standing in the safety of the public.

The Chief Minister announced to increase the uniform allowance from constable to assistant sub-inspector from Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 and the mess allowance of officers up to the level of police inspector from Rs 2,400 to Rs 2,700. Apart from this, policemen will now be able to travel free in semi-deluxe buses along with express buses.

The state government has announced the formation of a Police Modernization and Infrastructure Fund of Rs 200 crore to modernize the police department and strengthen the infrastructure. Under this, recruitment has been approved for 10,000 posts, 5,500 new posts have been created and 3,500 posts are proposed.

Promoting women empowerment, administrative and financial approval has also been given for the establishment of Padmini Kalibai and Amritadevi women police battalions. 1,000 new constable posts have been created for the Kalika patrolling team.

Sardar Patel Center for Cyber ​​Control and War Room will be established by the state government for Rs 350 crore. Financial approval of Rs 60 crore has also been given to increase the technical efficiency of the police. Police Telecommunication Training Center will now be developed in the Rajasthan Police Technical Training Academy.

The Chief Minister said that the police and society complement each other. Regular dialogue between the common man and the police helps in controlling crime. He talked about the active participation of the police in schools, colleges and community centers, which will create a positive attitude towards the police among the youth.

In the ceremony, tribute was paid to the martyrs by offering floral wreaths at the Police Shaheed Memorial. After the parade inspection, Police Medals and Chief Minister Commendable Service Medals were awarded to police officers and personnel for outstanding services. During this, Director General of Police UR Sahu said that the decisions taken under the leadership of the Chief Minister have not only boosted the morale of the police force but have also strengthened the law and order in the state.
